You can't directly set a password for a folder in Windows 11, but you can use a tool called File Encryption to protect your folders with a password. Here's how:
- Right-click on the folder you want to protect.
- Select Properties.
- Go to the General tab and click on Advanced.
- Check the box for Encrypt contents to protect data.
- Click Apply and then OK to save the changes.
Now, whenever you try to access the folder, you will be prompted for your Windows account password.
Note: This method encrypts the folder's contents, not the folder itself. You can also use third-party encryption software to protect your folders with more advanced features.
