You can check which programs are currently accessing your webcam by looking at the taskbar or system tray icons.
- Windows: Look for a small camera icon, which usually indicates an active webcam connection.
- macOS: Open System Preferences and click on Security & Privacy. Select the Privacy tab, and then choose Camera. You'll see a list of apps that have recently accessed your camera.
You can also check your system settings or privacy settings for a more detailed view of which programs have permission to use your webcam.
- Windows: Go to Settings > Privacy > Camera.
- macOS: Go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Camera.
These settings allow you to manage which programs can access your webcam.
