How Do I Change Where Downloads Open in Windows?

You can change where your downloads open in Windows by modifying the default download location in your web browser settings.

Changing the Download Location in Chrome

  1. Open Google Chrome.
  2. Click the three vertical dots in the top right corner of the browser window.
  3. Select "Settings."
  4. Click "Downloads" in the left sidebar.
  5. Under "Download location," click the "Change" button.
