How Do I Make OneDrive Available Offline?

You can make OneDrive files available offline on your Windows PC, Mac, iOS, and Android devices. This allows you to access and work on your files even when you're not connected to the internet. Here's how to do it:

On Windows and Mac:

  1. Open the OneDrive app or website.
  2. Locate the files you want to make available offline.
  3. Right-click on the files and select "Make available offline."
    • You can also make entire folders available offline by right-clicking on the folder and selecting "Make available offline."
  4. Wait for the files to sync.

On iOS and Android:

  3. Find the files you want to make available offline.
  4. Tap on the three dots next to the file name and select "Make available offline."
    • You can also make entire folders available offline by tapping on the three dots next to the folder name and selecting "Make available offline."

Important Notes:

  • Files made available offline will be stored on your device, taking up storage space.
  • When you're connected to the internet, any changes you make to offline files will be synced to OneDrive.
  • You can manage your offline files by going to the "Settings" in the OneDrive app or website and selecting "Offline files."
