Published in Chrome 1 min read

Taking a long screenshot on Chrome is easy with the built-in "Capture full size" feature. Here's how:

  1. Open the webpage you want to screenshot.
  2. Press Ctrl + Shift + P (Windows/Linux) or Command + Shift + P (Mac) to open the Command Palette.
  3. Type "capture full size" and select the option.
  4. Chrome will capture the entire webpage and save it as a .png file in your Downloads folder.

You can also use the "Print to PDF" feature to capture a long screenshot. Here's how:

  1. Open the webpage you want to screenshot.
  2. Press Ctrl + P (Windows/Linux) or Command + P (Mac) to open the Print dialog box.
  3. Select "Save as PDF" from the Destination dropdown menu.
  4. Click "Save" to download the PDF file.

Both methods allow you to capture the entire webpage, including elements that extend beyond the screen's visible area. This is useful for capturing long articles, web pages with extensive content, and even entire websites.
