2. Incubation

This stage involves allowing your subconscious mind to work on the problem:

3. Illumination

This final stage is where the breakthrough ideas emerge:

  • Evaluation and refinement: Analyzing the generated ideas, refining them, and selecting the most promising ones.
  • Prototyping and testing: Developing a working model or prototype of the chosen solution to validate its feasibility.

Example: While taking a walk, a team member might have a sudden realization about how to streamline the customer service process using artificial intelligence. The team then evaluates the idea, develops a prototype, and tests it with real customers.
