You can't directly rename your Google Chrome profile. However, you can change the name associated with your profile by creating a new profile and then deleting the old one. Here's how:
Creating a New Profile
- Open Chrome: Launch the Google Chrome browser on your computer.
- Click on the Profile Icon: Look for the profile icon in the top right corner of your browser window. It usually appears as a circle with your initial or a picture.
- Select "Manage people": This option will open a new window where you can manage your existing profiles and create new ones.
- Click "Add person": This will allow you to create a new profile.
- Choose a Name: Enter the desired name for your new profile.
- Select an Icon: You can choose an icon or image to represent your profile.
- Click "Add": This will create the new profile.
Deleting the Old Profile
- Return to the Profile Manager: Go back to the "Manage people" window.
- Select the Old Profile: Click on the three dots next to the profile you want to delete.
- Click "Remove": This will delete the old profile.
Now, your new profile with the chosen name will be the default profile for your Chrome browser.
