Published in Audio Devices 2 mins read

You can control the volume of your AirPods using a few simple methods:

Using Your iPhone or iPad

  1. Volume Buttons: The most common method is to use the physical volume buttons on your iPhone or iPad. Press the + button to increase the volume and the - button to decrease it.
  2. Control Center: You can also adjust the volume using the Control Center on your iPhone or iPad. Simply swipe down from the top right corner of the screen to open Control Center and then tap the volume slider.

Using the AirPods Themselves

  1. Double Tap: Double-tap either AirPod to play or pause the audio. You can also use double-taps to skip tracks or activate Siri. These functions can be customized in your iPhone's settings.
  2. Force Sensor: If you have AirPods Pro or AirPods Max, you can control the volume by using the force sensor on the stem of the AirPods. Press and hold the force sensor to increase the volume, and release to stop. Press and hold the force sensor again to decrease the volume.

Using Siri

  1. Voice Command: Say "Hey Siri, increase the volume" or "Hey Siri, decrease the volume" to adjust the volume of your AirPods.

No matter which method you choose, you'll be able to easily adjust the volume of your AirPods to your liking.
