You can edit related tables in ArcGIS Online using the Attribute Table feature. This allows you to modify data in both the primary table and any related tables.
Steps to Edit Related Tables:
- Open the layer's Attribute Table: Find the layer you want to edit in the Contents pane and click the Open Attribute Table icon.
- Navigate to the related table: Click the Related Tables tab to view the related tables associated with the primary table.
- Select the table to edit: Click on the table name to open its attribute table.
- Edit the data: Similar to editing the primary table, you can add, delete, or modify data in the related table.
- Save your changes: Once you've finished editing, click the Save icon.
Example:
Imagine you have a layer of Schools with a related table of Students. You can edit the Students table to update information about individual students, such as their grades or contact details.
Additional Tips:
- You can also create new related tables from the Attribute Table view.
- Keep in mind that changes made to related tables will affect the primary table and vice-versa.
- Always review your edits carefully before saving.
