You can delete a contact on iCloud from your iPhone, iPad, or Mac using the Contacts app.
Using an iPhone or iPad
- Open the Contacts app: Tap the Contacts icon on your home screen.
- Select the contact: Find the contact you want to delete and tap on their name.
- Tap Edit: In the top-right corner, tap the "Edit" button.
- Scroll to the bottom: Scroll down to the bottom of the contact's information.
- Tap Delete Contact: You'll see a red "Delete Contact" button. Tap it.
- Confirm deletion: A pop-up will ask you to confirm that you want to delete the contact. Tap "Delete Contact" again to confirm.
Using a Mac
- Open the Contacts app: Find the Contacts app in your Applications folder.
- Select the contact: Click on the contact you want to delete.
- Click Edit: In the menu bar, click "Edit."
- Choose Delete: Select "Delete" from the dropdown menu.
- Confirm deletion: A pop-up will ask you to confirm that you want to delete the contact. Click "Delete Contact" again to confirm.
Deleting Contacts from iCloud.com
- Log in to iCloud.com: Go to https://www.icloud.com/ and log in with your Apple ID.
- Click Contacts: Select the "Contacts" app from the list of iCloud apps.
- Select the contact: Click on the contact you want to delete.
- Click the gear icon: In the bottom-left corner, click the gear icon.
- Choose Delete Contact: From the menu, select "Delete Contact."
- Confirm deletion: A pop-up will ask you to confirm that you want to delete the contact. Click "Delete Contact" again to confirm.
Remember that deleting a contact from iCloud will remove it from all your Apple devices that are synced with your iCloud account.
