You can edit FaceTime contacts directly within the FaceTime app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac.
Editing FaceTime Contacts on iPhone and iPad
- Open the FaceTime app: Tap the FaceTime app icon on your home screen.
- Select the contact: Find the contact you want to edit in the list of recent calls or contacts.
- Tap the "i" button: Look for the information icon (an "i" inside a circle) next to the contact's name.
- Edit contact information: You can change the contact's name, phone number, email address, and other details.
- Tap "Done" to save changes: Once you've made your edits, tap "Done" to save them.
Editing FaceTime Contacts on Mac
- Open FaceTime: Click the FaceTime app icon in your Dock or Applications folder.
- Select the contact: Find the contact you want to edit in the list of recent calls or contacts.
- Click "Details": Click the "Details" button next to the contact's name.
- Edit contact information: You can modify the contact's name, phone number, email address, and other details.
- Click "Done" to save changes: Once you've made your edits, click "Done" to save them.
Remember that editing a FaceTime contact will only update the contact information within the FaceTime app. To edit the contact information across all your apps, you'll need to edit the contact in your Contacts app.
