You can export bank transactions from QuickBooks Online in a few simple steps:

1. Navigate to the Banking Tab:

  • Open your QuickBooks Online account.
  • Click on the Banking tab.

2. Choose the Transactions to Export:

  • Select the Transactions tab.
  • Use the filters to narrow down the transactions you want to export, such as by date range, bank account, or transaction type.

3. Export the Transactions:

  • Click on the Export button located near the top-right corner of the screen.
  • Choose the desired format for your exported file:
    • CSV: A comma-separated value file that is compatible with most spreadsheet programs.
    • Excel: A Microsoft Excel spreadsheet format.
    • PDF: A portable document format that preserves the formatting of your transactions.
  • Click Export.

QuickBooks Online will download the file to your computer. You can then open it in the chosen program and analyze the data.

Note:

  • You can also directly export bank transactions from specific bank accounts within the Banking tab.
  • The export feature is available in both the Basic and Plus QuickBooks Online plans.

Example:

If you want to export all bank transactions from your checking account for the month of March, you would:
